Stretching Exercises to Increase Height

Increasing height is the top dream of people who have short posture. It is because being short is considered torturing, in the sense that people naturally or unconsciously respect more to the tall guys or women than their short counterparts. 

Have you ever heard about stretching exercises to increase height? When it comes to the problem faced by teens or adults concerning their height, it is obvious that the body will likely to stop growing after puberty comes. However, no need to worry as it is not as frightening as it looks like. The good news is that they can add a little more height to their matured body. How? Just leave your problem to stretching exercise for the solutions. 

Stretching exercises to increase height are considered effective because doing spine stretching consistently will lengthen out spinal discs. Stretching exercise to increase height will be:

  1. Leg Stretch

Spread your legs vertically while siting on the floor. Try to touch your toes of your left leg. If you cannot reach your toes, try to grab the farthest part of your left leg. Stay in this position for a while. Once it is done, try the same stretch on your right leg.

  1. Standing Forward Bend

In this stretching move, you need to stand up, lock your knees and feet together. After that, bend down your body slowly until you can hold your ankles. Stay in this position for 15 seconds in order to stretch out your lower back.

  1. Downward Facing Dog

This is one of stretching exercises to increase height where the body creates a pyramid-like shape with your back and bottom facing the ceiling. Do it by kneeling first, place your hands and knees on the floor. After that, spread your legs while holding your body up by your hands and feet. Stay in this position for 15 seconds. 

  1. Wall Stretch

You need to stand up with your back against a wall. Raise your arms while standing and  tiptoeing, and then put your arms against the wall. Continue to press your back to the wall, repeatedly. Stay in this position for 6 seconds or more. 

  1. Bridge

Try to lay supine but bent your knees and make your feet flat on the ground. Your hands are trying to reach your ankles while making your feet close to your body. After that, try to lift your torso with your stomach is facing the ceiling. Stay in this position for 15 seconds. 

Overall, when you have short body after puberty, you do not necessarily give up too fast. Consider doing some stretching exercise to increase height is one of the solutions of your height problem. You can do easily several stretches like bridge, downward facing dog, standing forward bend, wall stretch, and leg stretch.
